Back I will be interested to see how this pans out. After reading the article on tS7, it appears as though there may be two versions (or maybe modes?) of tS7: A "client" version and a "server" version. I'm not sure if that means that there will be too different pricing structures, or if the standard tS7 upgrade will include the server or not...
Not being much of a team player, I can overlook this particular functionality (aside from the possibilities of real-time tech-support). What interests me is the use of all of the different scripting languages. Such support indicates to me that Caligari is aiming this next release at people who need flexibility and possess the ability to script their own tools, etc. Scripting is crucial to integrating an application into a production pipeline.
tS isn't my only application or even my main application anymore, but I'm definitely looking forward to this upgrade!
