Render Questions 2005-02-15 - By Stan Slaughter
Back Funny, but with a kernel of truth. I've found that one of the hardest thing to do in a render is to *not* show the entire model you spent so much time on. Even when doing so makes for an image with a weaker impact.
I once spent 2 days trying to figure out how to work an object into the final render before finally giving up on it.

Was looken for a "Shadow Blur Radius" in TS,TS ant got nothing like that ? Shadow Blur Radius is a slider that skaters the edge of the shadow in Poser. I'll try all the other lighting rigs. Stan I paid$2 for the haunted mansion so wanted to get my $2 worth in the Render ;) http://www.atomic-3 (See http://mic-3.ora-code.com)d.com/RK_3DArt/00_3D-Renders_Main.htm I got one render a little closer, but I'll make multiple version of the good renders when I get them done. I have a boat load of homework and test to study for. I don't 3D model when I am in school so thought to do some Renders over the week end. won't be nothing as good as u all's but It's fun :) if I try to import the entire haunted mansion all at once in toTS, it's frizzes. can't figure out how to tweak the textures un less I decompose in to objects if I decompose in to objects it slits it down to all most each polygon. so I am running in to a few problems that's slowing me down also. RorrKonn rorrkonn@(protected) http://www.atomic-3 (See http://mic-3.ora-code.com)d.com TS6.6 SP2,LW7.5c,Basic C4D 9 + BP2, zBrush 2,Poser 5,DAZ,Visual C++. What ever it takes to get there.
