Rendering a mask

If you're using tS 6.6, save the render as a Photoshop image and get the
mask from that (you could even mask an animation by extracting the alpha
channel from sequential PSD files). If you don't have 6.6, make the
background black and paint the object white with a "Constant" shader and,
just to be sure, boost the ambient slider in the in the reflectance shader.
Photoshop (or PSP) would be easier. Select the background, flood fill with
black, invert the selection and flood fill with white.
