Animation/Music Synchronization 2004-12-30 - By Ed Baker
Back I know you already have your answer, but I use Cool Edit Pro from Syntrillium (Now it's owned by Adobe and called something else), but one thing you can do in it is to display the timeline in frames per second. Then I just watch the wav file to see which frames the beats fall on.
