A question about Skin Surface Tool

A question about Skin Surface Tool

Hello all,

I had a bit of trouble with the Skin Surface Tool
the other day. I was eventually able to solve it, but
I wonder if there is any other way...  Here's the
thing:  I have to closed curves and I want to connect
them using the Skin Surface Tool.  I select the Tool
and the select the two curves and they connect forming
a kind of tunnel, just like I want.  But when I right
click to exit the tool, the second curve moves to the
left and up, distorting the shape I wanted to make.
The only way I was able to keep the curves in place
was by saving the scene, then closing and reopening it
(so that I didn't have to "exit" the Skin Surface
Tool).  This seems like an unusual solution.  Is this
some kind of bug in TS?

Thanks,
Omar
