I don't know much about maken games.getting educated thou.
gMax is free so why would anyone buy Max for games ?

Anyways I was thinking about Hollywood grade animation with dynamics,
pyro's etc etc.
realistic charter animation.with real hair, not textured hair and cloth
etc etc.
XSI Foundation,Basic C4D,Maya Complete,XSI Essentials does not have all
that stuff.
So there all worthless to me.

of course Poser has real hair and cloth for $500 so why can't the others
?
App's like Vue has water for under $1000 but Nextlimit is in the
$1000's.

Valve worked on Half-Life 2 with XSI Essentials, and that was before it
included the now added compositing program.  Even so, there are lots of
pros who use Foundation.  I know, I've chatted with quite a few on the
XSI mailing list.
