MessageAll I can say is WOW!

....well that is really NOT all I can say.....

Upon reading this email, I had a mental flashback to 1998 when there was an
announcement that tS4 would use Lightworks.....same type of feeling....same
type of anticipation.

VRay includes my all time dream of ray-traced motion blur and ray-traced
depth of field.  Imagine, true motion blur at last!  And the ability to
handle large geometric datasets too!!!  There is also talk at their site of
VrayFur geometric primitives (I wonder if Staffan Hellstom has already
downloaded the Vray SDK?).  And on top of this you also have Virtualight and
the latest Lightworks update.

I know that there have been some rumblings in recent trade magazines that
tS's rendering capabilities were a bit out-dated, but do you think including
THREE renderers is a bit of over-compensation ;-)  Nevertheless, Bravo!
Well done!  You realize that if you respond this way to a rumbling over
rendering capabilities, then you are only encouraging us to rumble
more...even if there is really nothing to rumble about.

The new architecture, the new renderers....wow!  I hope you have a bunch of
plugin developers lining up for the SDK!

WOW! (there...I said it again).

....okay...one more time.....

WOW!

Thanks....really....THANKS!

Subject: [TSML] TS7 Renderers

Today Caligari Corporation announced three new photorealistic rendering
options for its next generation modeling, rendering and animation product,
trueSpace7. Users will have a choice between three available photorealistic
renderers: In addition to the standard Lightworks 7.5 renderer, Caligari
will also ship VirtualLight 1.4 with trueSpace7. The latest version of the
V-Ray renderer will be available as a separate option for trueSpace7. All
three renderers will be seamlessly integrated into the trueSpace7 user
interface and users will be able to switch between them with a single mouse
click.
