You're right Steve, at 110% it does look a bit better (it's a very
subtle difference) - although that could also have had something to do
with the brightness of the background colour I selected, or the colour
used in the 2 shaders (one for the floor/backwall object, one for the
car).

It's nice to know we can get results that are comparable to the "big
guns" without jumping through a lot of hoops or paying the "big price".
