Re: Hexagon Feedback 2005-07-05 - By ccoles_avengers
Back Hello Michael,
Hexagon is *definitely* easier to use than AMAPI Designer and more powerful in many ways, IMO. There is a certain intuitiveness that the Evoia folk were able to capture with Hexagon that I have not experienced with any other brand of 3D modeling software.
I have to say, Hexagon has become my modeler of choice, although I do use AMAPI PRO for certain things that I either can not create in Hexagon, or that simply looks better modeled in A7Pro.
And don't be concerned that it may have some "AMAPI-isms" to it...Hexagon is built enough from the ground up that any reservations that you had before with using AMAPI, should dissipate when you use Hexagon. Of course this is just my opinion...but I think it is a fair one. :)
Well, there are only 9 more days to the end of the 15% sale. I hope you are burning up the demo in the meantime. :) Personally, I think you should have no problem in picking up Hexagon -- it is easy, fast and intuitive.
Well, happy decision-making. :)
Cheers.
