Hi Vic,

I used to have a freeware utility called 3DWIN which converted
multiple formats.  Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared when I
migrated to my latest computer.  However, it is still available,
except it does cost to use it now -

If you are just concerned about the LWO extension, a freeware package
called Anim8or does import files in the LWO format and can export them
to 3DS which Carrara should be able to read. -

Other than those recommendations, you may have to look for dropping
some drachmas down to purchase a decent conversion package.

Question:  have you looked to see if CS4 Pro has the format import
capabilities you are needing with the models you are finding?  Perhaps
a simple upgrade can be the solution, and then you will be getting a
whole lot more with it -

Well, hope that helps some.

Cheers.
