Thanks for the door pictures. It's giving me some good ideas.  I never thought

Are you just looking for a round topped door?
If so, try the spline modeller, maybe. . .draw your door with the pen
tool on a cross section- four corner points in a rectangle, and one
above the rectangle. Convert the one above to a bezier. Voila!

But you are probably looking for something fancier. .  .
