Peter,

I have Vegas software ( http://www.acidplanet.com/tools/?p=vegas&T=1013 )  and
that's my "work around."

Harvey is right, only the quicktime format supports audio export with
the animation. And you are better to output an AVI uncompressed and put
the video and the audio together in a dedicated package. I use Magix
Movie Maker as it is cheap and relatively powerful but if you want
something free, look at VirtualDub for your mixing or see what
 www.sourceforge.net has.

and it plays on my Microsoft Media Player; so it's right.

RENDER it; is says the AVI format doesn't support soundfiles....   Is that
right?  That can't be right, it says .wav on my CP4 soundtrack list.
