Looking for Carrara 4 tutorials

I'm fairly new to 3D.. and am looking for tutorials for Carrara 4.
Or, even some good books.  Before you point out 3dxtract: I was unable
to find tutorials.  There are a couple tutorials in each e-magazine,
but only the current e-mag is free..the rest cost $, and may or may
not have tutorials on what I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?
