I could reproduce the problem with the keyframes. Unfortunatly, it's a Carrara bug and I can't do anything about it (it also happens with Carrara volumetric primitives). I'll send a bug report to EOVIA.
About the animation crash, could you send me the file, I'll make some test on it.
