Hi Meredith,

What I have switched to and am planning to use faithfully while
working in Carrara is XnView <http://www.xnview.com/>.  It is super
fast and will even open certain esoteric graphical images such as SYJ.

There is also another graphic browser that views 3D files (including
Poser files) called P3dO Explorer <http://www.senosoft.com/>.  The
only problem I have with this software is that it is *very slow* in
pulling up files.  But it does view 3D files when it finally accesses
them.

Both are freeware and I would recommend XnView for your basic
graphical needs.  It is also conversion software.

Well, hope that helps.

Cheers.

Claudia
