It is a nice system/application stress test. It is one of the smaller files on that site & when opened in Carrara is a little over 1 million facets. Carrara does not do a bad job of moving it around in OpenGl display mode and rendering it with the skylight. The Buddha render, without the credit to Stanford, was not really for diplay to the list.It was a test of Eric's new "Anything Goos" plug- in. The mesh is so dense A-Goos shading ends up as random spots. Everything else there is mine (i think), put up temporarily while yakking in irc chat or something and never removed.
The dragon was skinned so I could pose it but I didn't spend any time on editing the bone weights as the skinning was just temporary. I have fix a bunch of stuff and add some more detail to the face.
