Carrara and AI Importation

Carrara and AI Importation

Howdy,

I've been trying to get Carrara to import a logo file from both AI and EPS
formats. However, for whatever reason some of the o's, r's, and d's from two of
the three logo-specific fonts are being filled in where they should be hollow.
The third font, however, doesn't have any problems. Any ideas of getting the
spline modeler to detect the edges in the vector files better?

Secondly, is it even possible for textures to be used in vectorstyle? I'm
guessing that's a no, since aside from the flash shader (which apparently didn
't work anyways when I tried), none of the formats supported are vector. Just
curious, though.

Thanks for any and all help!
Kevin
