Error in Vertex Modeler

Error in Vertex Modeler

Save early and often when working in the vertex modeling room.  Take your
time clicking things, if you hurry, especially the Undo command, you will
confuse the program and cause it to crash.  Every once in a while, save,
exit, restart the software.  If the software slows down, if you get strange
errors, exit immediately, do NOT save, and you should be fine.  I used to
get all sorts of errors and every time it was because the program had a
memory leak (and may still have).  Eventually it gets so bogged down it
crashes and I learned to avoid that by recognizing the danger signs.

You'll have the most trouble with complex models, models that you imported
from other software and models you've booleaned.  They can be stabilized, it
just takes time.  First, get rid of floating debris, those floating vertexes
you've got can confuse the software.  Triangulate before and after
booleaning a model, it also stabilizes the model. SAVE before doing the
boolean, save with a different name after the boolean, then Triangulate and
Save with another name before going into the Vertex Model room to clean up
your results.

Yes, it's a pain, but far less painful than losing your model to errors.

Subject: [Carrara] Error in Vertex Modeler

Hi, I recently got C4 about a month ago and have been getting used to
it. It has some really cool new features for vertex modeling.
But -- in the past couple of days, I've been getting an error in some
files when using the add vertex. When I click on a line to add a vertex
to an existing model, I get --

-An unknown error has ocurred while executing Cube-

If I hit Okay, a vertice appears, but it isn't attached to the model.
It's just a dot floating free.

When this starts, I can't add ANY vertices. I can move the ones that
are in the model, but that's all.

HELP!
