Re: Difference Between Carrara Studio 4 Standard and Pro 2005-06-10 - By Andrew
Back C4P has several features that C4S doesn't not. What C4P has: Blurry reflections, Vector Motion blur, Transposer 1 and CADance, and a few others. C4P also includes Amapi Designer 7 (NOT of the Pro series, which as a focus on Nurb support).
Hexagon doesn't figure in, per say. Hexagon is a stand alone modeler and can be used with or without Carrara or Amapi. Carrara is often used to texture and render because these things are not part of Hexagon.
Carrara 3 is a good piece of software. If you plan on animating then you should look into C4P but if not, then you can do very well with just C3.

I went to the eovia site and I couldn't figure out the difference between Carrara Studio 4 Standard and Pro. How does Hexagon figure into both versions? I'm very sorry if this issue was covered in a previous post but I need to find some answers to these questions before I can purchase the software. > > __ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ __ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
