Carrara 4.1.1 updater 2005-06-08 - By Sarah Siteman
Back Hi,
I don't post to this list very often but I'm hoping that someone will have some advice or at least tell me that this problem isn't effecting me alone.
I ordered Hexagon, VectorStyle 2, and Transposer 2 a few weeks ago. I've been moving over the past month and my desktop just arrived last Wednesday along with the rest of my furniture. Once I found all the parts (mouse was missing for a while and I had to search through many boxes to find my serial number) I downloaded the software and the first two installed properly. Transposer will not install without the updater to Carrara 4.1.1. I can't get the updater to download.
I have Carrara 4 Pro on the desktop, and am typing the correct serial number when requested. When I try to get to the next page, I get an error which looks like there's a problem on the Eovia site. Technical support says that the Eovia server is down but I've been trying this for three days. I had Carrara 4.1 installed at one time but un/reinstalled to see if a corrupted file was the problem. I tried from both my laptop and my desktop and I get the same error so it doesn't seem to be related to whether Carrara is present on the computer or not.
Has anyone else had a similar problem, especially in the last few days? If so, I will wait impatiently. Otherwise, help!
