Back Not as easy as some may think. Rosetta is not the end-all solution to compatibility between the two platforms. If you read up on it, it only supports apps that run on a G3. So if you need Altivec or G4/G5 optimizations, you're going to be out of luck.
Carrara may run under it (although dog slow), but newer stuff like Hexagon will be rendered unusable until a native port is made.
If you combine this with how long it takes some companies to port their software to new processors/OSes (Quark and Alias Wavefront, for example), a move to intel becomes a lot less attractive.
This is going to make the transition from 680x0 to PPC seem like child's play in comparison.
