Tyrannosaur in Hexagon

Tyrannosaur in Hexagon

Hey everybody,

I just uploaded some more images of the Tyrannosaurus Rex model built
in Hexagon to the CarlS folder in the Files area.
The model was built from a cube using extrusions, mirroring, and
smoothing.

T-Hex_front_ortho_1024_90.jpg shows a front profile of the model from
the orthogonal camera.
T-Hex_rear_ortho_1024_90.jpg shows a front profile of the model from
the orthogonal camera.
T-Hex_front_perspective_1024_90.jpg shows a front profile of the
model from the perspective camera.
TyrannosaurusHex_1024.jpg shows a closeup of the head.

The model has been getting UV mapped in UnWrap3D for the last couple
of weeks, and I'll be posting some Carrara images when it has been
textured and made Poser ready.
Once the model has been made posable, the toes will be splayed out in
a more natural postion to help balance the animal. A few people that
have seen this have commented that it looks like the critter is
balancing on it's toes it is, and they did. The heel of any
therapod was always well above the ground.
