I took a quick peek at Blender the other day. Unfortunately, my hobby
use of Carrara has fallen off rather sharply over the past few years
(getting married, having a child, becoming a home owner, other
hobbies, etc., etc. get in the way of noodling around with 3D). I
don't know that I can justify keeping up with the upgrade costs
anymore. I've been using Carrara since the Ray Dream 4 days and
although my output volume has never been much, I've enjoyed it.
Anyway, has anyone here used Blender enough to recommend or warn me
away from it?
