Hi, John.
Clearly Hexagon is now the ideal modeler as it is easier than Amapi
Designer 7. As all of you have seen Eovia has already updated Hexagon to
1.01 and Eovia stated in the chatroom event that they great plans for
updates, upgrades for Hexagon. I am sure that in the future they will
adding more import and export modules. Also remember that if you have
C4Pro you can import the Hexagon file and exported to just about any
format.
I see it this way for $99 bucks I'm getting one of the best modelers
around. A modeler that will just keep getting better in the next few
months. Don't wait until Hexagon goes back to the regular price.

What version of A3D will Hexagon Import / Export? I Have Amapi Designer

But I also have Amapi 6 and that seems to have a wider range of
exporters
and importers. That is why I keep it around.
Site says sale is till June 3. This says to me that people are still
deciding.....
RINGO....perhaps a final sales pitch.....Why do people buy Hexagon if
we
have Carrara and maybe Amapi?
Is Amapi a dead end for upgrades?
