I didn't have time to work on upper torso and arms this last weekend, but I
did re-do the eyes, made some changes to the head proportions, re-mapped the
texture UV's and added some fur.
I will start on the arms and upper torso some time this week/weekend,
schedule permitting.

Reference images are a "must" when doing this kind of thing. I'm using a
few that I found on this site: http://www.fotosearch.com/BDX236/bxp40915/
Click on the "Image Zoom" link under the picture and a pop-up launches that
lets you zoom in pretty close. It appears to substitute a high rez image to
do the zooming. All right for basic texture work, but really great for
reference photos during modeling, or when you need a reference for creating
your own textures.
