Sorry the lines bother you, although I felt that they did actually took most of the really bad lines out in Hexagon, as compared with AMAPI (remember how AMAPI had lines that went across the entire screen?).
If you play around with it more, I think that you will get used to it, though, because you will most likely get distracted with the fact that you can actually model with speed in Hexagon. :)
