tS7 mentioned in 3DWorld Issue 59

All,

The latest issue of 3D World has an interview with Roman concerning the
latest release of tS7.  This is what he did NOT talk about in the interview:

1) When it will be released.
2) What the new features will be....though Roman did narrow it down to
modelling, animation, and rendering (that was nice of him as I was "really"
confused before he cleared that up ;-)
3) What it will cost.

Apart from all that wasn't said, it was still a full page interview.  This
is what was talked about:

1) General themes for tS7:  a "whole new environment" is being created that
will impact ease of use, customisable interface, simplifying collaboration,
simplifying 3rd party development, and content distribution.
2) ProTeam subscription will recieve a "major upgrade in tS7's lifetime".
3) Significant changes will be made to the Caligari web-site in tS7's
lifetime.
4) The Caligari web-site gets 5 million hits a week.....4.99 million are
from RorrKonn looking for tutorials (just kidding...sorry...couldn't resist
;-)
5) The image gallery contains some of the best artwork in the field (I agree
there!!).
6) He doesn't understand why some of the artists don't submit their work to
3D World (....good question).

More is implied than is actually said, so for me to say anymore would be
putting even more words where they don't belong...so buy the mag and judge
for yourself.

Thanks,
Dave Angelini
