File Back-up Nightmares Hopefully Over - Freeware To the Rescue... :) 2005-05-25 - By ccoles_avengers
Back Well, I guess they aren't exactly nightmares, but having to perform file back-ups by hand does take some doing.
With a little research, however, I was able to find this GREAT piece of freeware called "SyncBack" that I just tested and it seems to work like a champ. So hopefully, gone are the days of using the OS search engine to sift through all updated files for back-up purposes.
The software seems to have a lot of options and flexibility; and this is just the freeware version. The paid version seems like a winner as well, but I don't think I need all of the bells and whistles it offers for right now. But the price tag stills seems reasonable (only $15).
Well, here is the link. Now there is no more excuse for anyone on the list [ including yours truly :) ] of losing their data due to lack of decent back-up software. [ big ;) ]

Cheers.
