I needed to convert something to directX .x format yesterday. So, i
wondered to caligari site to download the gameSpace application to
see if it can import some stuff exported from carrara and then export
it as .x...

Anyway, i was impressed by some new features of coming truespace 7.
They had true collaborative modeling implemented. Several
modelers/animators can work simultaneously on same scene and see wht
the other guy is doing. In a sense like plying 3d fps game but
creating instead of destroying and shooting. I really liked the
idea...
By using the xml format with standard server and collaboration
techniques, it could be possible to work on same scene accross
internet. At least by using check-in and -out and correct protocols,
the xml format should allow us to work over web. What do you think?
