Re: dollar vs euro whining 2005-05-16 - By Jason Sheldon
Back Well, it may not make a difference in the grand scheme of things, but I'm showing my feelings with my wallet. I'm simply not going to buy Hexagon at the Euro price. If everyone else did the same, they might reconsider the pricing policy... but if people go ahead and 'accept it', it'll just become the norm and everyone else will start doing it. I'll stick with Lightwave 8 for now - which is a shame, because I really like the Carrara renderer, but was hoping for a more intuitive modeller than Lightwaves.... I'm still wondering what would happen if an American resident ordered it in Europe... They'd surely get the USD$ price, but against the Eovia pricing policy.... J

yep... i end up paying about 155$ for hexagons limited time offer here in Finland, and when compared to US price that's a lot more. It makes me want to order the stuff outside the official distribution line. Just because i feel, that the pricing model isn't treating me fair. I don't think it will change anything, we europeans trying to state the obvious... But, i think we'll exercise our right to tell our opinion.
