Arggghhhh!!! I read the Transposer 2 docs too fast -- If I select the
dynamic hair & go to the Modeling room, the tweak dialog shows up OK.
I thought that this dialog would appear as part of the Import process
(which, if it did, come to think of it, would be pretty useless since
I'd then be making changes that couldn't be seen =:-0 ).
After testing it out several times, looks like TP2 is installed and
working. I manually copied the TP2 Help files into the Carrara Help
folder and now they show up OK. I wish eovia would pay more attention
to ensuring that their installation routines are clean before they post
the product for sale. The TP2 docs should have overwritten the TP1
files and InstallShield should terminate gracefully with a message
indicating successful install. Don't even get me started about needing
to uninstall/reinstall products before a patch can be applied (I think
I've finally figured out which Amapi keys in the registry have to be
preserved to avoid this).
And no snide comments from the Mac gallery please ;-)
