quick downloads via libraries 2005-05-11 - By steven_mcq
Back The main city library in Salt Lake City has both ethernet and wireless available for free, so I can download to my laptop very quickly.
The University of Utah library has public terminals available with a daily guest pass, and the machines have USB plugs on the front side. The whole Hexagon download will fit on a 256 MB USB flash card.
Then, of course, there are coffee shops (even in Utah) with free wireless at pretty fast connection speeds.
You might have options like these in your area. Why pay for an expensive line into your home when you don't need that capacity very often?
