I just checked system requirements for Hexagon
and Eovia claims G4 800Mhz minimum.
For comparison:
Carrara Pro is listed at G3 266Mhz.
Amapi Pro is listed at G4 800Mhz minimum

To me, an old G4 is 450Mhz. What G4 are you running Hexagon on?
