It's _fast_.  Even on an old G4.  I've cloned bunches of spheres onto
bunches of support spheres with no big bog-downs happening (Declone
to export as .car files).  It handles Add Thickness to lines too (and
whole edge -wireframes- detached from their objects) which is
something I've wanted in Carrara.  And like everything else, it does
it speedily.

Maybe that speed comes from it's not having to carry lots of lights
and shader and keyframe information that requires updating --it's
business is with modeling only.

Interesting.  I thought I have had the only Macs that had issues with Amapi--
