Back
Bread is 70p per loaf and I earn around 30 per day (depending on hours actually worked.) For this area I would say it is pretty much the standard wage. Of course head into Edinburgh or work in London and its a different ball game then again house prices are stupidly high so you have no choice but to commute.
National Health service eh? lol. Thats a joke and a half. Do a little bit of research on the UK National Health service and see what is said about it. I had my apendix out 9 weeks ago and have not been able to work since due to bad stitching not healing properly. Unlike the US we dont really have the comeback on things like this. Its just one of those things. I should have been back at work 3 weeks ago.
Oh and the wards were filthy and the shower fell apart and was covered in black mould. Thats National Health service hospitals for you. Read about them anywhere in the UK news.
SO not as rosy as you may have expected.
Anyway lets get back to Carrara/Hexagon etc. This is getting boring and nobody will agree with the other.
