Back And back in '98, baked beans with breakfast in London was like US 47!

When I was in London last summer it struck me that what a dollar buys back home is pretty close to what a pound buys in the UK, except for the exchange rate which made everything cost (for me) about $1.80us. However, I didn't whine at every shopclerk about the "unfair treatment" I was experiencing just for buying toothpaste....
We ALL know that each copy of Hexagon doesn't cost $99 to make, nor does it cost 77Euros at cheap overseas labor.... The retail price of $250 reflects a market value judged against software competitors. That market value is exactly the same as 250Eu in Europe. Honestly, if you are claiming you deserve a discount for living in London because it's SOO expensive... Maybe you should consider the suburbs.
By the way, H&M was even cheaper in London (gasp) than NYC, except for the part about costing me 180% which made it mearly a "bargain" rather than a "super-bargain".... When will you limeys give me back my money??
Have you tried simply ordering a US copy and getting someone to ship it to you? Is there any reason it wouldn't work? holly
