Francois, you and I have lamented the dumbness of Viewpoint for some
time now, and me, longer, as I was an investor in Metacreations. I
think the best thing that could happen for the technology (it is very
good) is for a company to buy it up once the value simply drops through
the floor.

I feel somewhat smug in the fact that even back when they first began
their ridiculous pricing and license policy I emailed them telling them
they have signed their own death certificate. If only there were some
way I could make money on the prediction ;)
It's not reassuring to know their company is continuing its downward
spiral, and that they don't seem to care. They should have stuck with
creating high-end 3D content. Oh well.
