Hi, Andi.

Nice work. The problem you're having with photocopying is that it's
too nice. Your tones are far to smooth for a copy machine.

I just uploaded a file called "Andi's Pipe thing.jpg" to the files
area. Check it out for future reference. It's just a quick trip
through Photoshop's film grain filter, but it should copy fine.

Hope this helps.

Amapi, and lighted, textured, and rendered the scene in Carrara. Still
getting the hang of 3-point lighting, but I do like it, especially for
images like this one that have to be in dark, shadowy areas. :-)

they're doing the book on a photocopier they can't get it to print
correctly. Which is why it's in black and white instead of color. But
the publisher said that greyscale images, especially computer
generated artwork, don't photocopy well. Can anyone give me any
suggestions on optimizing CG artwork for print? It's too late for the
three images that I did in this series, but I'd like to know for the
future.
