Thanks for the information. That the model of the insects head was your first in Hexagon, and you say it's easy to learn, says a lot about the usefulness of the program.
I'm an illustrator and really don't (usually) need the nurbs capabilities of Amapi, but I do want a fast, powerful, easy to use modeler: sounds like Hexagon may fill the bill admirably.
Any more information you can reasonably share would be appreciated by us all, I think.
