I haven't tested the mesh noise yet, but tried the other one, the Parametric
Terrain Editor (PTE). Wonderful for simulating waves, easy to manage in the
Carrara's Terrain Editor.

Mesh Noise is a freeware helper application that adds random variation to
the vertex points of a mesh object. Random variation adds interest and
realism to an otherwise sterile mesh.
