C'mon. Post some pics! Animations! WIPs! Anything Carrara related!
Okay, here's the back story on this. The day after the movers brought our stuff to our new residence, my daughter shows up with 3 friends and takes us out to dinner. During dinner (good thing they didn't wait for us to clean up - or we all would have starved) we are talking about a million different things and Kelly (my daughter) mentions my graphics stuff. A gentleman named Steve asks what kind of pictures I make? Of course the subject of dragons comes up - because I create a lot of dragon pictures. Steve says, "Oh, my daughter LOVES dragons!". At this point -- my lovely daughter Kelly says, "My Mom (me) can make a dragon picture for Emily's (Steve's daughter) Birthday. Well, just my luck -- it turned out that her Birthday is the end of this month (turning 14). So, while trying to get moved in and doing the million things associated with that -- I made this picture for her Birthday. (something had to go -- so I pretty much gave up sleep for a week) Very little modeling was done for this (like I had the time). It's (the file I gave to him) set to render at 11" by 14" at 300 dpi. It looks a little dark on screen - but a test printout showed up the details much better than the monitor. Emily likes Dragons and reading and Harry Potter books (that's pretty much all I was told) _http://sullysdragons.com/for_emilys_14th_birthday.htm_ (http://sullysdragons.com/for_emilys_14th_birthday.htm) Done with Carrara 4 - Poser and Transposer 2. Naomi 2D or not 3D, that is the question.
