I got the impression that Adobe's pullback from the Mac platform in video was more because Final Cut Pro/Express and iMovie. Apple has such a strong product line from top to middle to bottom in the video arena (one of them being free when you buy a Mac, the other only $100 with a new machine) that they focused where there wasn't such strong price competition. I know that I traded in my Premier CD for the free Final Cut Express offer a while back. It did everything I needed quicker, easier, and cheaper (if I had bought it) than Premier and had tight integration with iDVD.
I wouldn't look at that as a sign that Adobe will pull back from the Mac plaform in a more general sense.
