Back
Adobe brought Aldus and got PageMaker (which at the time was the #1 layout program). It was replaced by Quark in due time due to Adobe's not-caring about their acquired product.
Still, they don't care much about PageMaker (or FrameMaker, for that matter) and replaced those with InDesign, which is finally challenging Quark for layout dominance, thus making a feature-price war to the benefit of the users.
