Poser 6 &Transposer2

Poser 6 &Transposer2

Until the Poser 6 SDK is released by Curious Labs, Transposer2 can't be
updated for the Poser 6 .exe. As it is, Transposer2 only supports the
Poser5 capability so you should leave the path set to your Poser 5 .exe
or Poser 4 .exe. Transposer2 will have trouble opening Poser 6 native
files like Jessie and James as they are stored by default in compressed
format (.obz designation rather than .obj)

Until Transposer2 can be updated, a workaround for those who upgraded
from Poser 5 and who still have it on their system is as follows:

1. unzip the .obz file to an .obj file (for example Jessie.obz is stored
in the libraries/figures/characters directory rather than the geometries
folder) using any unzipping program. I used the free 7-zip program from
sourceforge.net which automatically recognized the OBZ file as an
archive. You might also want to unzip the crz files to cr2 but I don't
think it makes a diffrence.

2. open the PZ3 file in Poser 5. Poser 5 will complain but will try to
open it. You will then have to point Poser 5 at the unzipped OBJ file
and associated texture files.

3. Check the file over and resave it from Poser 5.

Haven't tested this fully but I did get Jessie into Poser 5 with morphs
intact, animated her and then brought her into CS4Pro intact.
