I think ZenStar is the only free plug-in for that version.

Do whatever you can to upgrade to at least Carrara 3.
Carrara 1.1 has some serious flaws in it that make
modeling almost impossible. Since you seem to like
the program even in that early version, you are going
to go WILD over later releases.
