Max demo ant but a few weeks long, takes a few months just to get threw the manuals. I don't have or need Max but before I dish out 1000's I'm going to know what I am getting. like Demos,Learning versions that's not on a timer. I have noticed that Max is releasing a new version quicker then the rest. but seen boys leave Max for Foundation. Advanced I would get but don't get Foundation. I wasn't impressed with Foundation.and $7000 for hair when it's getable for $500 ? RorrKonn,
It wasn't 3D related. I was a real estate title searcher. The big title companies took over the independents like my dad and I and when he had a stroke four years ago, I lost most of my(our) clients, not that there were many left. I didn't really like the job but got into it because my dad did it, it paid well and I had NO idea what I wanted to do when I got out of college. I didn't pursue any more clients on my own since, as I said, I didn't like the job and was practicing 3D CG in my spare time. I really went bankrupt on credit card bills, since I tried to live the same lifestyle that I was accustomed to before. I didn't "splurge" on anything big, though in retrospect, I wish I would have! LOL
For the record, I've never "invested" in warez, just "fooled around" with some. ;-) They were passing a warez version of MAX around in my community college 3D class and the teacher actually "unofficially" encouraged it!!! I DID, however, FULLY invest in trueSpace and plan on continuing to do so! ..at least as much as I can afford to now. :-)
Don
