Importing from Microstation 2005-04-12 - By bty802637

Has anyone any experience with importing/ loading files from
microstation and if so what is the best way to go about it?
Have tried opening as dwg., iges., stl., at least - will try some more
now - just hoping I could get some wisdom.
It quite a large file - many lines, so maybe it's just too much for
the programme?
