"soft selection " 2003-12-04 - By Christian Nerving
Back Maya has a tool called proportional modelling, but its not at all near softselections of max, however, recently a guy programmed a plugin with some of the ALWAYS missed polygontools of maya, among which is a decent bevel..far better than mayas own, and a softselection tool that works really well..its called byronspolytools, its not free tho, but relatively cheap. You can check them out at www.byronimo.de
Cheers Christian
