HI guys. I have tried but with little success to build accurately
detailed high performance street tires. The bump map does not give me
the depth I need. I had tried using the torus / section / using a
different .ai profile for each section, but that is such a pain to
build my custom tread pattern in profile. I had hoped to bring the
tread pattern in as .ai file and then extrude it and wrap it, but I
can't see how I can do that. I hope this makes sense. Any thoughts are
welcomed.
