Carrara comes with a couple of HDRI from Dosch on your content CD (actually,
they are
also in your Carrara folder under Contents->Scenes->Global Illumination). I
would try
those as when you are ready to render. In the Assembly Room click SCENE, then
load the
hdri under the Background tab. Then in the Render Room check the Sky Light
option under
Global Illumination. (Be sure to turn off Ambient brightness under the SCENE's
tab.)

That's the quick solution.
